Mary J. Stavn, LCSW
Bilingual Psychotherapist (Spanish/English)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker (LCS 26145) with over 20 years of experience delivering client-centered individual therapy to children, adolescents, adults and families in school-based, community and clinic settings. I believe that each path to recovery and fulfillment is truly unique to the individual, and I use a variety of modalities to best fit each client's needs.

Learn More About Me
An associate clinical social worker since 2004 and licensed since 2009, I have extensive experience treating trauma, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress and adjustment issues as well as familial and stage of life challenges. I am also certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics-- an approach that integrates core principles of neurodevelopment and traumatology to inform work with children, families and their communities. I use an integrative, strengths-based and client-centered approach to help you gain awareness and insight and thus improve your health and wellness.
Client-Centered Approach
I like to integrate and better understand your narrative and identify patterns of behavior and areas of continued personal growth and fulfillment.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a process through which clients work one-on-one with me in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. In this safe space we can develop a plan to work through the personal issues and challenges you may be experiencing.

Consultation
Please call or email to set up a time to discuss your current needs and how I can best support you. During a 15 minute phone consultation where you can inform me of what is bringing you to seek therapeutic support, we can also discuss fees and adjunct services as well as discover if we are a good fit for our work together.
